Epiphany

Jesus and his half-brother
Savage Ape-boy
Walk down the street.
Savage Ape-boy,
All fur and feathers,
Pees on the grass
Marking a circle.
He bares his teeth
To ramrod-straight businessmen.
Waves his erection
At nubile halter-top teenyboppers.
Jesus wants to tear off his robe,
Kick off his sandals,
And run naked through the streets,
Yelling and laughing, grabbing asses.
He wrestles with his urges,
Fingers his rosary,
Feels one of his migraines coming on.
Suddenly, the sky opens
And God appears, huge finger pointing.
"Jesus! Boychickl!
I want you should stay away
From that no-goodnick
Monkey brother of yours!
He's a bad Influence!"
Jesus feels guilty,
Fidgets, clears his throat,
Gets that nervous twitch of his.
Savage Ape-boy flings a turd.
Charles Darwin snickers.
