The work of reclusive contemporary artist Maynard Krupke has been virtually unknown to the general public, aside from a handful of wealthy collectors. Now, for the first time ever, he is making his art available for viewing online. I am proud to be able to present to you

Abrasive Thoughts from the Disaffected Mind of Malcontent Artist Maynard Krupke

Maynard Krupke is considered a genius by some and an antisocial pariah by others. His art has been laughed at by gallery directors and museum curators but it commands high prices from his rock star and Hollywood actor collectors. Love him or hate him, his work is hard to ignore.
Maynard Krupke was born into poverty in a large American city and was orphaned at the age of three. He grew up suffering from severe neglect in the house of an alcoholic aunt and her invalid husband. Maynard was diagnosed early on with a rare form of autism and extreme social anxiety and, by the age of seven, had stopped speaking completely. Highly intelligent, he was a keen observer of the world around him despite his serious emotional and developmental issues, and he became highly skilled at communicating through drawing and painting.
As a young man, Maynard attempted to attend art school but dropped out after only one day, unable to handle the trauma of being around other people. After this, he withdrew completely from the world, living like a hermit in a tiny apartment in a city which he does not wish to be named, interacting with only a handful of trusted people. I consider myself fortunate to be one of those people and so, at Maynard's request, I am presenting his work online for the first time ever. His art is scathing social commentary, much of it directed at religion, and he knows that his opinions are extreme and unpopular, but he is determined to continue to create despite the outrage and condemnation often directed at him.
